Admissions Process
Hill Valley Academy is a school based at Mambo, Freetown, Sierra Leone. We offer learning of the highest quality at our excellent facilities for children from Pre-1 to Year 11. We primarily follow the Cambridge International Curriculum. We hold high expectations and ambitions for our students while also encouraging confidence, responsibility and self-discipline.
We aim to empower our students to fully develop their intellectual, emotional and social, skills in a challenging and supportive environment. Beyond academics, Hill Valley Academy strives to incorporate a positive attitude towards learning and a sense of patriotism and care for others/ less fortunate within our society in its students while equipping them with the higher-thinking and problem-solving skills that are necessary for success.
Entry Criteria
Hill Valley Academy prides itself on an admission policy that does not discriminate against any child or family. All children are welcome to apply to Hill Valley Academy regardless of nationality, ethnicity, tribe or religion.
We employ a holistic approach to the process of evaluating students for admittance. The evaluation process includes a review of the student’s application, past school records and/or transcripts, an entrance examination in Mathematics and English and an interview with the Principal/ Director of Studies.
Entrance assessments in Mathematics and English Language are required for all levels.
Student Registration Procedure
Step 1
To begin the application process, you may collect an application form from a Hill Valley Academy or download the application form
Step 2
Once you have completed the application form, return to Admin with the required supporting documents. Alternatively, you can email to: info@hillvalleyacademy.sl
Step 3
1. Take entrance examination in Mathematics and English Language
2. Undergo interview with the Principal/ Director of Studies - if required
Step 4
If your child is offered a place at our school, you will be required to pay an admission fee of Le 2,000 (New Leones)
