Hill Valley Academy opened in September 2018 with the primary purpose of offering the highest standard of education to all our students. In 2018 the school was accredited by the Ministry of Education, Sierra Leone.
We offer a rigorous British based curriculum from Pre-Primary through to year 11. We also offer a range of extra-curricular activities to support the development of the whole child.
We aim to offer a balanced educational program which not only places a strong emphasis on academics but also incorporates ICT, arts, sport, and learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom.
We believe that every child is unique and special. Our qualified and experienced staff understand the individual needs of children and provide an enriching environment that helps every child to thrive and achieve to the best of their ability.
The Primary School prepares our pupils for a smooth transition into secondary by offering a Cambridge curriculum alongside the National Primary School Education (NPSE).
The Secondary School comprises of the Lower Secondary Year, 7-9 and the Upper Secondary, Year 10-13. Our Primary focus is to successfully prepare students for externally marked International Exams at the end of Year 9, 11, 12 and 13 .
